Are advertising slogans always hyperbole?


When a company slogan says “The quality goes on before the name goes on” is that hyperbole?

How about when that company has a record of many failures?


Yeah, this company slogan is a hyperbole, especially for the company with bad track record. Since hyperbole is a type of exaggeration that adds extra effect and extra drama to the product or situation, etc therefore, it would be hyperbole.
