Charlotte Bronte’s novel Jane Eyre is a Bildungsroman tale that tells a story of child’s maturation. It focuses on experiences and emotions incite her growth to adulthood. We see five stages of Jane’s development, connected to particular places: first her childhood, second her education at Lowood School, third is at Thornfield as a governess, fourth is her time spent at Morton and Marsh End, and fifth and final stage happens at Ferndean, which tells about her reunion and marriage to Rochester.
