The narrator in Alice books is someone hovering from a distance from main action of the narrative, a spiritual figure could see anything and everything. Despite that, narrator’s impersonal narrative voice has some limitations. The focus is on Alice, who is always onstage, and knows every action happening in the story. Most of the time, the narrator tells us her thoughts, follows her on every move and her travels, trying to voice her feelings and thoughts. So, basically, Carroll has written this book in third person omniscient limited, in which author has limited knowledge of only one character.
